Our first day here we started at the perfect place- where the Mayflower landed. Even though the weather was a little (actually a lot more than a little!) rainy, it still was a great day. Our first stop was at Plymoth Rock which really wasn’t that big of a deal- more just a tourist attraction. The cool thing was to actually go on a replica of the Mayflower; it’s hard to believe that the Pilgrims were able to be in that small of a space for as long as they were! I don’t think I would have lasted more than a day!! After that we went to the Plantation- what an awesome place that would be to take kids for a fieldtrip! Seeing the actual villages set up just like they would have been was pretty amazing. At the end of the day we got to experience a “Thanksgiving” meal, a great way to end the day.
